THE RIGHT VISITORS
The first MM Live took place in October 2008 and exceeded 1,000 visitors from over 20 countries. Attendees came from a variety of industrial sectors and job disciplines, demonstrating the widespread desire in manufacturing to reduce the size of finished components. The importance of improving the production of precision micro parts was also reinforced by the draw of delegates from not just mainland Europe but as far as Israel, North America and Japan.
MM Live is held in the same exhibition hall as the UK's leading event for product development and manufacturing technologies, TCT Live. The co-location of both shows worked perfectly as several hundred TCT visitors explored the new engineering possibilities being exhibited at MM Live. In order for micro manufacturing technologies to be adopted it is essential that mechanical design engineers understand the new possibilities, thus redefining their design boundaries. WIDE REACHING MARKETING CAMPAIGN
To maintain quality and continually increase quantity of visitors, MM Live 2010 will be building on the success of the past two years. This means more magazine advertising, extending the reach to a wider range of industrial sectors and increased use of our highly effective e-Marketing campaign. Furthermore, the print run for the MM Live preview ticket — of which 100,000 were printed in 2009 — will be increased to ensure more new visitors to MM Live 2010.
