2012 Call for Exceptional Papers
Fresh from the success of the 2011 edition, Rapid News Communications Group is formally announcing the Call for Papers for 2012.
In order to maintain the world-class nature of MM/MEMS/NANO Live UK, Rapid News Communications Group is now calling for outstanding abstract submissions for the following sessions.
MM Live Micro Manufacturing Conference
The MM Live UK conference, now approaching its 4th edition, is characterised by high quality presentations from leading users of the technologies and industry commentators.In 2011 technology experts and commentators from the UK, USA, Italy, Germany, Spain, France and Sweden all featured in the line up. For 2012 the conference will continue to explore the impact, developments and applications in a range of micro manufacturing technologies. Presentations should address the design issues, the business benefits, financial objectives, material issues and/or part performance.
We welcome paper submissions in the following areas:
Micro Moulding Plastics Powder (PIM), Ceramic (CIM), Metal (MIM) Micro Moulding Conventional Micro Machining Techniques New/Emerging Micro Machining Techniques (EDM, ECM, Waterjets), Laser Micro Machining Micro Fabrication, Welding, Assembly Micro Metrology: Optical, Tactile, CMMs
MEMS & NANO Manufacturing Technology
For 2012 we will again be working with key industry associations JEMI, NanoKTN, MANCEF and Institute of Nanotechnology to create a compelling array of presentations in this cutting edge area.
We welcome paper submissions in the following areas:
MEMS & Nano Processes in Action - Applications Latest Technological Developments inc. Etching, Fluidics, Metrology, Lithography, Materials How MEMS & NANO technologies are changing the landscape Research and Innovation in NANO & MEMS technologies IP and the Transition from Research to Commerce
All submissions must be non-promotional in content.There are no restrictions on vendor participation, but all abstracts must demonstrate an educational nature. Sales presentations will not be accepted.
Interested parties are initially requested to submit an abstract of 200 words about their proposed paper on or before March 30th 2012. This should include the working title, all authors/contributors and their affiliations. All submissions will be reviewed to ensure that they meet the necessary and exacting requirements of Rapid News Communications Group.
MM/MEMS/NANO Live UK will be held at The NEC Birmingham, 25th–26th September 2012, and anyone submitting a presentation must be available to present on either of these two days. Please submit abstracts to Hannah Jennings via email: hannah@rapidnews.com
